90 percent plot allotted in PM Mitra Park of Dhar District: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that PM Mitra Park of Dhar district is the biggest Mitra Park in the country in the garment sector in Madhya Pradesh. In this, 90 percent plots have been allotted. This is an achievement. Traditional textile manufacturing and cotton industry has been a hallmark of India for decades. The Government of Madhya Pradesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has showcased the potential and capabilities to advance the textile , garment and footwear industry at BharatTex 2026 organized in New Delhi . Prime Minister Shri Modi gifted country’s first PM Mitra Park to Dhar, Madhya Pradesh on 17 September 2025. Allotment of 90 percent of plots was also completed here along with Bhoomi-Poojan of Garment Sector’s Park. This is a record and shows the vigilance of the state government towards the work.

Chief Minister Dr. In a discussion with media representatives, Yadav said that investors are now demanding land for setting up industries even around PM Mitra Park in Dhar district. Madhya Pradesh is attracting investors due to suitability for industries in the region , availability of goods for raw yarn , infrastructure development. The world is becoming familiar with the growing export potential and employment generation power of the region. The initiative of investors and the enthusiasm of entrepreneurs in the garment sector is commendable.

  • 1592 Crores of Rs

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also informed about the investment proposals in the textile sector. He said that investment proposals of Rs 1592 crore have been received from various industrial institutions in Bharat Tax 2026, the implementation of these proposals will provide employment to 15 thousand 700 people. Union Minister of Textiles Shri Giriraj Singh had a meaningful discussion with industrialists of the country and representatives of global brands.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is among the select states where the value chain of the textile and apparel sector is available. Availability of cotton yarn , garment manufacturing and machinery makes Madhya Pradesh a leader. Madhya Pradesh is also number one in organic cotton production. It is not just cotton production in the state , but a form-to-fashion ecosystem is being created. 11 thousand 750 crores have been exported from Madhya Pradesh in textile and garment sector. Our textile industry is gaining recognition in many countries including America , Bangladesh , Japan , Germany , Vietnam, Italy , Netherlands and Australia.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that hundreds of textile and garment industries are operating in Madhya Pradesh. The number of MSME units has also exceeded 43 thousand. As a result of the investment of 2400 crore rupees in this sector, more than 3 lakh people are getting employment. The arrival of more than 20 thousand crores of investment and arrival of 30 big companies from Dhar’s PM Mitra Park is significant. Cotton producing farmers of the region will benefit from PM Mitra Park.

  • Madhya Pradesh will break the investment record

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is being recognized for its attractive policies in the textile , garment and footwear sector. Investors are being attracted by financial subsidies to industries in the state , power supply , land allotment , exemption in stamp duty. Promotion of women entrepreneurs , skill development training and infrastructure are being done in the state. Madhya Pradesh is attracting investors from all over the world due to its central location and its unique features. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that out of the investment proposals received by Madhya Pradesh at the Global Investors Summit 2025, about 10 lakh crores of investment has not been realized. GIS will be organized again in the year 2027 , it is expected that the investment record will be broken. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the subsidy amount of five and a half thousand crores has not been given to the entrepreneurs through DBT.

  • Initiatives for industrial development in small cities

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that regional industry conclaves were organized at the divisional level in the state , which has led to industrial development even in small towns. A new industrial area is being developed in Narmadapuram with an investment of 11 thousand 500 crores. The IT Park in Rewa is starting. Industrial parks are being established in Gwalior , Jabalpur , Singrauli , Satna , Katni and Sagar. Shivpuri has got a defense park and Guna has got a big cement plant. At present more than 37 industrial parks are operating in the region. Madhya Pradesh is also progressing in other sectors of industry along with textiles and garments. Cotton and silk are being produced in sufficient quantity in the state. Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah has appreciated the regional industry conclave model of Madhya Pradesh.

  • Farmers become collaborators in electricity production

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government has increased its annual budget despite the global challenges while reducing non-essential expenditure. Earlier, the government used to give subsidy of 20 thousand crores to farmers , instead of this, solar pumps are being given to farmers while providing incentives for solar energy. Farmers are producing their own electricity for their needs. The state government is also buying more electricity than it needs. Water sharing has been given a new direction through river linking projects. Government of Madhya Pradesh is promoting tourism while improving mutual relations with neighboring states.
