Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav released the coffee table book “MPRDC: Connecting People through Quality Infrastructure” at the Ministry. This book has been prepared by the Public Works Department and the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation in collaboration with the Economic Times and other stakeholders with the aim of showcasing the region’s inspiring journey of infrastructure development, modern road connectivity and continuous progress. Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh, Chief Secretary Shri Ashok Barnwal, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Neeraj Mandaloi, Shri Manish Rastogi, Principal Secretary Shri Sukhbir Singh and departmental officers were present on this occasion.
This coffee table book is a comprehensive document of the department’s achievements, innovations and future development vision. The book outlines the role and contribution of Public Works Department and Madhya Pradesh Road Road Development Corporation in the development of the region. The book presents an attractive and factual account of the major infrastructure projects undertaken by the department. It specifically mentions projects developed on Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM), express highways, major roads, flyovers and bridge construction works.
The progress, impact and development journey of road projects connecting major economic, industrial, religious and tourism centers of the region, new and innovative initiatives and modern technical and project management measures adopted by the department are also included in the book. The coffee table book also includes future plans and future roadmap of Public Works Department and Madhya Pradesh Road Road Development Corporation.
