- Held a meeting with the nodal officers of the participating departments of Ganga Conservation Campaign,
- reviewed the progress of the works and gave necessary guidelines.
Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development, Mrs. Deepali Rastogi, held a meeting with the nodal officers of the departments participating in the Jal Ganga Sancharan Abhiyan. She reviewed the progress of the work being undertaken by the departments in detail. She instructed the nodal officers of all departments to ensure timely submission of information to the dashboard created for ranking, ensuring effective evaluation of the campaign’s progress.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the ” Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan ” is being conducted in the state since March 19th with the aim of conserving every drop of rainwater and reviving traditional water sources. Eighteen departments associated with the campaign are undertaking various tasks related to water conservation and environmental enhancement , giving a new direction to the conservation of water resources in the state.
Additional Chief Secretary Mrs. Rastogi reviewed the department-wise progress of the work done from March 19 till now and directed all the departments to ensure effective implementation of the campaign and complete the works on time as per the set targets.
Commissioner , Madhya Pradesh State Employment Guarantee Council, Mr. Avi Prasad, received department-wise progress information from the nodal officers of the participating departments at the meeting. He said that all departments must enter the information in the dashboard created for monitoring and reporting. The progress of the campaign will also be ranked department-wise through the dashboard. In the meeting, information was given about the activities being conducted by the participating departments under the campaign.
Officials from other departments including Panchayat and Rural Development , Urban Administration and Housing , Water Resources , Narmada Valley Development Authority , Public Health Engineering Department , Horticulture , Farmers Welfare and Agricultural Development , Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion , Micro , Small and Medium Enterprises , Environment , Women and Child Development , School Education , Revenue , Culture and Jan Abhiyan Parishad were present in the meeting.
