Chief Minister Dr. Under the guidance of Mohan Yadav, the Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board has taken historic and effective steps to ensure the protection, transparent management and utilization of Waqf properties in the public interest through the effective implementation of the new Waqf Act. Over the years, illegal occupants have been removed from Waqf Board properties and after physical verification, focus has been on providing employment to the needy people through the properties. Work was done to increase the income of Waqf Board by discussing it with other states and Waqf Committees. Accounting of Waqf properties by the Government of India in registration on the portal of M.P. Waqf Board has achieved first position in the country. As a result M.P. Waqf Board was honored with Scotch Award.

M.P. Waqf Board Chairman Dr. Sanwar Patel said that after the implementation of Waqf Research Law in the country, Chief Minister Dr. Under the leadership of Yadav, M.P. The Waqf Board has given a new direction to the society by carrying forward many socially transformative works as per the intention of the law. In this order, as a result of Chief Minister’s will power, 1552 boys and girls were saved from dropping out. Financial assistance has also been arranged for them so that they can continue their studies, after the new Waqf Act, new opportunities are open for the sons and daughters of the society. In this order Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will award scholarships to 849 meritorious sons and daughters of Bhopal district at Ravindra Bhavan on May 25. This is the beginning, the Waqf Board will award scholarships to sons and daughters in every district of Madhya Pradesh. Many states are sending their officers and employees to the office of Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board to understand the plans and working style of Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board after the discussion of innovations like ‘Read, Teach – Become a Participant in Rashtra Nirman’ by Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board.
- Decisive steps taken to hand over Waqf properties to clean and accountable management
Chief Minister Dr. Under Yadav’s leadership, the Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board gained legal and administrative strength with the effective implementation of the new Waqf Act. A tough campaign was launched against Waqf mafias, corrupt managers and illegal squatters. Decisive steps were taken in the direction of freeing Waqf properties from tainted hands and handing them over to clean and accountable management. By running a parallel Waqf Board, legal action was ensured against those elements who caused damage to Waqf properties. RRC/recovery notices were issued and recovery proceedings were also initiated against the managers involved in the Waqf losses totaling more than Rs.41 crores. In this sequence, a recovery notice of Rs 28 crore 96 lakh was issued to the manager of Waqf Yatimkhana Shahjahan, Bhopal, which is considered to be the largest recovery notice in the history of Waqf in the country so far. Action was taken against the management of Waqf Mother Gate Ujjain for recovery of Rs 7 crore 21 lakh. A recovery notice of Rs 1 crore 84 lakh was issued against the managers of Waqf Jama Masjid, Bina Bajria Sagar. In the case of Waqf Badwali Chowki, Indore, action was taken to recover Rs 1 crore 24 lakh.
In the same order, RRC was issued for recovery of Rs. 1 crore 5 lakh on the management of Waqf Hindu Orphanage, Bhopal. A notice was also issued for the recovery of loss of Rs. These proceedings have made it clear that the new Waqf Board is fully committed to the security, transparency and accountability of Waqf assets. Strict legal action is ongoing against any person, mafia or tainted management who harms the Waqf.

Occupiers sitting on vacant properties have also been forced to think about the new research law by the central government. All properties are registered online, so no one can do anything wrong, this fear has also been seen in Waqf mafias. Digitization of Waqf properties has ensured a transparent system. This discouraged those doing immoral activities. Agricultural lands were auctioned on time, which increased the revenue and the results of which are visible today. It is being appreciated in every section of the society.

M.P. Waqf Board Chairman Dr. Sanwar Patel said that this year for the first time in the history of Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board it has been decided to plant five lakh saplings on Waqf Board lands in the entire region for the purpose of protecting the environment under the supervision of Waqf Board. Every section of the society and every person is requested to plant a tree in the name of their ancestors. After planting saplings, district wise responsibility will be fixed for maintaining them and those who do good work will also be rewarded.
