Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that there are ample opportunities for natural farming in Jhabua district. Natural farming is not only good for health , but also provides an opportunity for good income. New opportunities have arisen in the region under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. For this, all the necessary schemes are being implemented in the state under the Krishi Kalyan Varsh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav attended the state level “Capacity Building and Credit Disbursement Program of Self Help Groups” at Thandla in Jhabua district on Friday. Here he interacted with the advanced farming friends and farmers from different areas of the district who are doing natural farming. He discussed various schemes and efforts run by the government to know the experience of farmers and promote natural and organic farming.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav interacted with Mrs. Sangeeta Damor, an advanced agricultural friend of Village Devigarh , Development Block Meghnagar and appreciated her experiences and efforts in the field of natural farming. During the interaction Mrs. Damore said that she has received five days training in natural farming as Krishi Sakhi. At present she is imparting training in natural farming to 125 farmers in and around her village. In the training , natural exchange methods like Bijamrut , Jivamrut and Neemastra are being taught. He said that they are doing natural farming on about one hectare of land and for the last four years, they are joining the Atma project and are also imparting new farming techniques to other farmers. He told the Chief Minister that by adopting natural farming and better crop management, wheat production increased from 35 quintals to 45 quintals per hectare , due to which his income also increased significantly. He said that natural farming is becoming an effective means of reducing farmers’ costs , increasing production and increasing income. Smt. - Progressive farmer Vimal adopted natural farming and started reaping double financial benefits

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav interacted with Mr. Vimal Bhabor, a progressive farmer resident of Village Khedi, Development Block, Jhabua, Jhabua District, and learned about his experience of natural farming. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav got information from him about the motivation to adopt natural farming , changes in farming , increase in income and training being given to other farmers. During the conversation Mr. Vimal Bhabor told that he has 25 bigha of agricultural land and he also does animal husbandry along with farming. They got an opportunity to learn new techniques through the guidance , training , tours and farmer seminars of the Agriculture Department . He has been doing organic farming for the last five years and natural farming for two years. Shri Bhabor told the Chief Minister that under the National Natural Farming Mission, he has established a Bio Resource Center (BRC) on his farm , where organic matter , manure and other natural inputs are generated. They use them in their fields and also provide them to the surrounding farmers. At present they are producing vegetables , fruits and other crops by natural method.
Informing the Chief Minister, he said that earlier he used to get about 50 thousand rupees per year from farming , while after adopting natural farming, his annual income has increased to about 1 lakh to 1.50 lakh rupees. In addition to this, during March to June 2026, an additional income of Rs.5 thousand 500 has been received from Bio Resource Center , about Rs.1.50 lakh from nursery , about Rs.1.60 lakh from natural vegetables and fruits and about Rs.6 thousand from vermicompost manure.
Chief Minister Dr. Appreciating the efforts of farmer Mr. Vimal Bhabor, Yadav said that natural farming is an effective means of increasing farmers’ income , reducing production costs , maintaining soil fertility and developing a healthy farming system. He urged Mr. Bhabor to motivate other farmers also for natural farming.
Farmer Shri Vimal Bhabor Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Expressing his gratitude to Yadav, he said that his guidance and government schemes have given him a new direction to adopt natural farming and become self-sufficient.
