Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla said that Madhya Pradesh is a state with immense potential for tourism. Its rich cultural heritage , historical heritage , spiritual sites , wildlife wealth and natural beauty give the region a distinct identity among the major tourist states of the country. He said that tourism is not only a means of tourism , but also an effective means of creating employment , boosting the local economy and attracting investment. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla attended the inauguration and induction ceremony of Skull International in Bhopal. The function started with the lighting of the lamp and the swearing in of the newly constituted executive was completed. Shri Mahendra Pratap Singh took charge as the first President of SCAL International Bhopal.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that the state government is continuously working to give a stronger identity to Madhya Pradesh on the global tourism map through tourism infrastructure development , investment promotion and public participation. He said that the arrival of a global organization like SCAL International in Madhya Pradesh is an important opportunity for the tourism and hospitality sector. This will benefit the tourism industry of the region through international networks , exchange of experiences and global cooperation. He expressed confidence that this initiative will give a new impetus to the tourism prospects of Madhya Pradesh and develop new dimensions of investment , innovation and participation in the tourism sector.
Additional Chief Secretary Culture Shri Shiv Shekhar Shukla said that Skull International’s arrival in Madhya Pradesh will open the door to new opportunities for the state’s tourism sector. This will give new recognition to the tourism of the region at the international level. He said that Chief Minister Dr. The state government under the leadership of Mohan Yadav is working with a vision for holistic development of tourism and such a global forum will prove to be an important partner in this direction. Secretary , Chief Minister and Tourism Department and Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Dr. Ilayaraja T. said that this is an important step towards establishing the region more strongly on the global tourism map. This will give new impetus to tourism development and develop new opportunities for tourism investment and participation at the international level.

It was mentioned in the ceremony that SCAL International is one of the largest organizations of tourism and hospitality professionals in the world. Active for nearly 90 years, this organization has been promoting cooperation , business and participation in the tourism industry, bringing together approximately 12,500 members from more than 90 countries on a global platform.
