Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the state government is continuously working to provide relief to the general public and strengthen good governance. In this regard, the “Chief Minister’s Electricity Bill Payment Solution Scheme-2026” has been implemented to provide significant relief to electricity consumers. This scheme provides relief to domestic, BPL, and agricultural consumers in paying their outstanding electricity bills, as well as a convenient solution.
Under the scheme, consumers are given the option to pay their outstanding electricity bills in one lump sum or in easy installments. Significantly, a 100% surcharge waiver is also being provided on outstanding electricity bills until March 31, 2023, providing financial relief to millions of families.
The state government’s goal is to ensure that no consumer is deprived of electricity due to financial reasons. With this in mind, the scheme has been made simple and accessible. Consumer registration is mandatory to avail the benefits.
For consumer convenience, registration facilities have been made available through various channels. Consumers can easily register through the “More Bijli” app, the CSPDCL ‘s official website, their nearest electricity office, and special registration camps. The scheme is effective from March 12, 2026, and the last date for availing the scheme is June 30, 2026. Millions of consumers have already joined the scheme, and a large number of cases have been resolved, providing relief worth crores of rupees to consumers. Statistics show that 724,000 consumers in the state have registered to avail the scheme. 163,000 cases have been resolved, providing relief worth over 62.2 million rupees.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai stated that the state government is committed to solving public problems and is prioritizing schemes that provide relief to ordinary citizens. The Chief Minister’s Electricity Bill Payment Solution Scheme 2026 is a result of this public-spirited approach, bringing relief and confidence to the lives of millions of consumers.
