Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai paid his respectful homage to the great revolutionary, ardent nationalist thinker and freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar by offering floral tributes on his birth anniversary at his residence office here today.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Veer Savarkar was not only a freedom fighter but also a shining symbol of national consciousness, courage, and social awakening. He dedicated his entire life to struggle and austerity for the motherland’s independence and national pride. Despite difficult circumstances and suffering, his patriotic resolve never wavered.
The Chief Minister said that Veer Savarkar spoke out against social evils like untouchability and discrimination and continuously strived to strengthen social harmony and national unity. His writings, thoughts, and actions continue to inspire citizens to national interest, self-respect, and social harmony.
The Chief Minister said that Veer Savarkar’s thoughts continue to inspire our young generation to build the nation. We must follow his ideals and strive tirelessly to build a strong, prosperous, and self-reliant India.
