Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, Jashpur district is strengthening its infrastructure and developing better transportation facilities for the public. In this regard, construction of modern bus stands in Duldula and Bandarchuwa is progressing rapidly. Collector Shri Rohit Vyas inspected both under-construction bus stands on Thursday to assess the progress of the work and directed the construction agency to complete the work within the stipulated timeframe with quality.
Passengers will receive modern and improved facilities.
During the inspection, the Collector observed the shops, toilets, waiting rooms, and other passenger amenities being constructed within the bus stand complex. He directed that all construction work be carried out in accordance with the prescribed quality standards so that citizens can enjoy improved facilities for a long time.
The Collector said that adequate seating arrangements, clean and accessible toilets, a safe and organized premises, and all necessary basic amenities should be ensured at the bus stand. He clarified that bus stands should not only be a place for vehicles to stop, but should also be developed as a convenient, safe, and clean public space for passengers.
The construction is being carried out at a cost of approximately one crore rupees each.
Both the modern bus stands at Duldula and Bandarchuwa are being constructed at a cost of approximately one crore rupees each. After completion of the construction, thousands of passengers travelling on this route including Jashpur, Kunkuri, Pathalgaon will have access to safe, well-organized and modern passenger facilities. Besides, local business activities will also get a new impetus.
Collector Mr. Rohit Vyas, while instructing the officials and the construction agency to further speed up the work, said that the construction of the bus stands should be completed soon and made available for public use. He said that the objective of the district administration is to provide quality basic facilities to the citizens on time and to make the benefits of development works reach the people quickly.
