eputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao today released the poster of the State Bank of India’s Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana’s public awareness campaign at his residence office in Nava Raipur.

He presented cheques of Rs 2 lakh each to six beneficiaries of the state who received insurance claims under the scheme. Under the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, a total insurance amount of Rs 240 crore has been distributed to 12 thousand people in Chhattisgarh in the last three years.

Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Saw said at the event that the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, has become a powerful means of providing financial security to the lives of common citizens.

With an annual contribution of just 436 rupees, this scheme is providing families with strength and confidence in their future during difficult times.
