Shri Ramvichar Netam, Minister for Agriculture Development and Welfare, Tribal Development, and Scheduled Caste Development, stated that the contribution of teachers to shaping the nation’s future is invaluable. A teacher is not just an individual who completes the syllabus but is the architect of the character and mindset of an entire generation. He mentioned that, in line with the Chief Minister’s vision, efforts are underway to establish schools and nursing colleges in the district to ensure a bright future for the youth. Teachers are the true architects of the future generation of society and the nation, shaping students’ lives through knowledge, values, and guidance.
A dignified district-level Teachers’ Day felicitation ceremony was held at the auditorium in the Balrampur-Ramanujganj district headquarters. The chief guest at the event was Shri Ramvichar Netam, Minister for Agriculture Development and Welfare, Tribal Development, and Scheduled Caste Development for the Government of Chhattisgarh. Minister Netam remarked that teachers do not merely impart bookish knowledge but also instill moral values, discipline, and good character in students. They foster independent thinking, creativity, and a curiosity to learn new things among children. Speaking at the event, Collector Smt. Chandan Sanjay Tripathi described teachers as the pivot of nation-building and urged them to guide students in a way that allows them to become role models for society.
- 21 Outstanding Teachers Honored
Twenty-one outstanding teachers from the district were honored at the ceremony. The ‘Gyandeep’ award was conferred upon Shri Shyam Sundar Chaurge (Teacher, Government Middle School Korvapara, Rajpur), Smt. Neelima Ekka (Teacher, Government Middle School Daura), and Shri Jawahar Lal Paikra (Headmaster, Government Middle School Chirai, Shankargarh). Additionally, 18 teachers from various development blocks of the district were honored with the ‘Shikshadoot’ award for their outstanding educational services. A large number of public representatives, officials, teachers, and students were present on this occasion, including former District Panchayat President Smt. Pushpa Netam, Janpad Panchayat Vice-President Smt. Babli Devi, Municipal Council Vice-President Shri Dilip Soni, the Superintendent of Police, and the District Panchayat CEO.
