Government schemes should be implemented effectively, benefits should reach the last person – MP Shri Santosh Pandey

  • Disha Committee meeting held under the chairmanship of MP, detailed review of Central Government schemes

Under the chairmanship of MP Shri Santosh Pandey, a meeting of the district level District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (Disha) was held in the Collectorate Hall, Kawardha on Tuesday. In the meeting, in the presence of public representatives and committee members, various public welfare schemes, services and programmes of the Central Government were reviewed department wise. MP Shri Pandey said that the role of Disha Committee is very important in the overall development of Kabirdham district. Through the committee meeting, the progress of the Central Government schemes is regularly reviewed, which helps in their effective implementation. He instructed the officials to ensure that the benefits of the schemes reach the last person in a timely and effective manner. District Panchayat President Shri Ishwari Sahu, Municipal Council President Shri Chandraprakash Chandravanshi, Smt. Sushma Baghel, President, District Panchayat Kawardha, Smt. Balka Ramkinkar Verma, President, District Panchayat Bodla, Smt. Roshni Sahu, President, District Panchayat Pandaria, Shri Roshan Dubey, Shri Naresh Sahu, Shri Lalit Chandravanshi, Shri Kanshiram Uikey, Smt. Madhu Tiwari, Collector Shri Gopal Verma, DFO Shri Nikhil Agarwal, District Panchayat CEO Shri Abhishek Agarwal, Additional Collector Shri Narendra Pankra, Additional Superintendent of Police Shri Amit Patel along with departmental officers, members of Disha Committee and public representatives were present in the meeting.

 MP Shri Santosh Pandey said that all officers should work with full commitment and dedication for the overall development of the district. Government schemes should be effectively implemented on the ground and their benefits should reach the last person. This should be everyone’s goal. He said that the meeting thoroughly reviewed central government schemes, services, and programs. The committee’s significance lies in regularly monitoring and coordinating the progress presented by officials. He directed that all directives given in the meeting be strictly followed. MP Shri Pandey said that the nominated members of the Disha Committee and public representatives have been informed of various problems in the area. A time limit should be set for resolving all these problems and quality solutions should be ensured. Action should be taken on priority in the areas where problems were raised in the meeting.

    During the meeting, MP Mr. Pandey expressed his displeasure over the delays in the construction of the National Highway and directed that the work be expedited. He urged that the construction of bridges and culverts should continue simultaneously with road construction. He directed that the recommended action be taken against those negligent in the construction of the road from Kharia to Agari on the Daldali Main Road in the Bodla development block under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana. He emphasized the importance of completing development works with seriousness and quality. The meeting reviewed the completion of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, tank construction and tap connection expansion under the Jal Jeevan Mission, and road construction, and directed that these be completed on priority. He also directed that maximum beneficiaries be benefited by approving works in accordance with the provisions of the Vikasit Bharat Ji Ram Ji Yojana.

Collector Mr. Gopal Verma stated that the implementation of schemes by all departments is aimed at benefiting beneficiaries. The government’s guidelines will be effectively implemented on the ground, and wherever deficiencies exist, continuous improvements will be made to address them. In the meeting, departmental officials presented the progress of schemes, services, and programs being implemented in their respective departments. Public representatives also offered suggestions regarding ongoing development work in the district.
    During the meeting, MP Mr. Pandey reviewed the Disha Committee’s agenda in detail and provided necessary guidance to officials. The agenda included a detailed review of various schemes including Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana, Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana, Soil Health Card, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana, Integrated Watershed Management Programme, National Food Security Mission, Vikasit Bharat Employment Guarantee and Livelihood Mission (Rural), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural and Urban), Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-NRLM, Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural and Urban), Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan, Gram Panchayat Vikas Yojana, Sansad Adarsh ​​Gram Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, National Health Mission, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, National Social Assistance Programme, Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan, UDID, Digital India, Samagra Shiksha, Mid-Day Meal Scheme, Scholarship Schemes, National Animal Disease Control Programme, Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana, Khelo India, e-Shram Portal, Infrastructure Development, e-National Agriculture Market, Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Srijan Karyakram, MP Local Area Development Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Khanij Kshetra Kalyan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 2.0, National Food Security, Atal Pension Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana.
