During his visit to Kabirdham, Governor Ramen Deka planted a mango tree in the Collectorate premises, spreading the message of environmental protection. On this occasion, he appealed to citizens to plant as many trees as possible and make environmental protection a mass movement. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma and Pandaria MLA Bhavna Bohra also planted trees on this occasion.
Governor Mr. Deka stated that trees and plants play a vital role in maintaining a clean and balanced environment. He added that tree planting is not only important for the present, but also an important step towards ensuring a safe and healthy environment for future generations.
Collector Shri Gopal Verma, Superintendent of Police Shri Dharmendra Singh, Divisional Forest Officer Shri Nikhil Agarwal, District Panchayat CEO Shri Abhishek Agarwal and other officers were present in the program.
