Instructions to provide fertilizers and seeds to farmers on time

The Agriculture Department has intensified preparations for the 2026 Kharif season. The Joint Director of Agriculture held a meeting with agricultural officials from Bemetara district to review various preparations, including the availability of seeds, fertilizers, and other agricultural inputs. 
    The Joint Director instructed officials that providing quality fertilizers and seeds to farmers on time should be a top priority. He placed special emphasis on expanding the acreage of Kharif crops, promoting advanced agricultural techniques, and effectively implementing departmental schemes. Officials have been instructed to maintain regular contact with farmers, provide weather-based agricultural advice, and ensure prompt resolution of agricultural problems. He emphasized ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach every eligible farmer and that farmers should be continuously educated about modern farming practices.
    The meeting thoroughly reviewed seed and fertilizer storage for the Kharif season, available resources, and actions being taken in the interest of farmers. Officials provided detailed information on the preparations being made for the Kharif season in the district.
