Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Arvind Group is also setting up its unit in Madhya Pradesh further strengthening Madhya Pradesh’s relations with Gujarat. In line with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision, PM Mitra Park aims to start production by next year. This will create new employment opportunities for the youth of the region. Yadav said that Arvind Group is setting up its units at 3 locations. These include Barlai near Dewas, PM Mitra Park in Dhar and Betma in Indore. The company is operating in these locations as well as in other areas. The expansion of these industrial activities will increase employment opportunities for the youth in the region. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said this after a discussion with Shri Kulin Lalbhai, Vice Chairman of Arvind Limited in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that cooperation between Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh will strengthen the relationship between the two states. On the one hand, the industrial investment will provide employment to the youth of the region, on the other hand, additional resources will be available for the development of the state from the tax revenue received from the industries. This will give more speed to the development of the region. He congratulated and wished Arvind Limited for this initiative.
Discussions were held on various topics including the company’s proposed investment in Madhya Pradesh, establishment of industries in PM Mitra Park, employment generation, investment in textile and apparel sector, water reuse in industrial areas and modern communication system for Simhastha-2028. During this, Additional Chief Secretary, Industries Shri Neeraj Mandaloi, Secretary, Industries Shri John Kinsley and MD, MPIDC Shri Chandramouli Shukla were present.
- 1200 crore rupees investment proposed in PM Mitra Park
Arvind Limited is proposing to invest around Rs 1200 crore in PM Mitra Park. 105 acres of land has been allotted to the company for this. About 70 lakh garments are manufactured annually under the contract of the company with Pepcon Private Limited operating in Indore. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed speeding up the process of setting up industries and investing in PM Mitra Park. Discussions were also held on the necessary action towards speedy completion of the application process under CCIP and prompt review and approval of the proposal at the government level. Information on investment incentives available for textile and apparel industries was also given. These include capital subsidy, interest subsidy, reimbursement of stamp and registration fees, assistance for green industrialization and research and development facilities, among other provisions.
- Reuse of water in industrial areas will be encouraged
Prospects of zero liquid discharge solutions for water reuse in industrial areas were also considered. The prospects of setting up common ZLD systems in textile, pharma and other industrial clusters in more than 90 industrial parks being developed in Madhya Pradesh were discussed. A proposal to develop a ‘circular water economy’ model by connecting industrial parks with STPs of nearby municipal corporations was also considered.
- Preparation for use of modern communication system in Simhastha-2028
Prospects of using mission-critical communication network in Simhastha-2028 were also discussed. Mission-critical wireless communication, walkie-talkie network, PMRT and public safety communication solutions are provided by Arya Omnitalk Solutions, a joint venture of Arvind Limited and JM Baxi Group. Simhastha-2028 explores the possibilities of using such mission-critical communication networks for police, security forces, disaster management, health services and event management.
- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav invited for GIS-2027
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav invited Shri Kulin Lalbhai to invest in Madhya Pradesh. He was also invited to participate in the Global Investors Summit (GIS)-2027.
