Minister Smt. Rajwade distributed wheelchairs and assistive devices to the disabled.

Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade distributed various assistive devices and materials to six disabled people at the Balrampur Joint District Office complex today. On this occasion, she met the disabled people cordially, inquired about their well-being, and gathered information about their health, daily needs, and the difficulties they were facing.

Minister Smt. Rajwade provided crutches to Mr. Dhaneshwar Soni, resident of Sauni, wheelchair to Mr. Nishant Paikra, resident of Bhanoura and Ms. Mahima Das, resident of Badki Mahari, walking sticks to Mr. Gaurishankar and Mr. Phanu Singh, residents of Bhanoura and smartphone to Ms. Mamta Pal, resident of Sauni.

The beneficiaries expressed their happiness upon receiving the assistive devices and expressed their gratitude to the government and administration. These devices will not only facilitate transportation for the disabled but will also help them increase their self-reliance in daily life tasks.

Minister Smt. Rajwade stated that the state government is continuously striving for the welfare of persons with disabilities and their integration into the mainstream of society. Providing benefits of government schemes and assistive devices to persons with disabilities in need is a priority for the government.
