Newly recruited substation attendants of Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company (MP Transco) are undergoing advanced and professional training at the prestigious National Power Training Institute (NPTI) in Shivpuri , India. Experienced and expert electrical engineers provide them with theoretical as well as practical knowledge regarding the structure , operation, and maintenance of transmission lines and extra-high tension substations.
In the same sequence, during the field visit organized at 220 KV Sub Station Shivpuri, Executive Engineer of Shivpuri Testing Division, Mr. Ajit Verma along with Assistant Engineer Mr. Rohit Yadav gave detailed information to the trainees about various equipment of the sub station , their operation , maintenance and safety standards.
This training programme is being provided to strengthen the technical skills of the substation attendants as well as to make them proficient in the safe and smooth operation of the power transmission system.
