Athletes who have brought glory to the state through outstanding performances at national and international levels in various sports paid a courtesy visit to Governor Shri Ramen Deka at Lok Bhavan today. They were accompanied by Shri Kishore Mahanand, Vice-Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Labour Welfare Board.
Appreciating the athletes’ achievements, Governor Shri Deka remarked that their hard work, discipline, and dedication serve as a source of inspiration for the youth. He encouraged them to continue excelling and bringing laurels to the state and the country, while also wishing them success in upcoming competitions.
The group meeting the Governor included international powerlifters Shri Pradeep Kshatri and Shri Lakhpati Sindur; weightlifter Shri Kailash Sikka; basketball player Ms. Saupi Sikka; Thai boxing gold medalist Ms. Mansi Tandi; softball players Ms. Ganga Sona and Ms. Pratima Sona; football players Shri Bosto Tandi and Shri Rajesh Mahanand; karate player Ms. Lakshita Tandi; kickboxing player Ms. Riyasha Bagh; powerlifter Ms. Priya Harpal; and Shri Ritesh Pal, winner of ‘India’s Best Dancer Season 5’.
