- Revenue and Forest Ministers Inaugurate Free Residential PSC-Vyapam Coaching Center
A highly commendable initiative has been launched in Narayanpur to nurture hidden talent from the remote areas of the Bastar region and to help realize their dreams of entering administrative services. The district’s Minister-in-Charge, Mr. Tank Ram Verma, and Forest Minister, Mr. Kedar Kashyap, formally inaugurated the free residential PSC and Vyapam coaching center, which is funded by the District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT) for the 2026-27 financial year.
The primary objective of this district administration initiative is to provide a conducive environment and quality guidance for competitive exam preparation to meritorious youths from the district who are economically disadvantaged or lack resources. Fifty talented candidates—comprising 26 girls and 24 boys—have been selected for the coaching center’s first batch through a transparent selection process.
During the inauguration ceremony, the ministers and guests encouraged the selected students by presenting them with bags, notebooks, standard reference books, pens, and essential study kits. These candidates will not only receive free, well-equipped accommodation and meals but will also be taught the intricacies of challenging examinations like the State Public Service Commission (PSC) and Vyapam through regular classes conducted by subject experts.
The Assistant Commissioner of the Tribal Development Department has been appointed as the implementing agency for this scheme and will directly oversee the center’s operations and quality standards. The event was attended by the Municipal Council President, the Sarpanch of Chhotedongar, the District Collector, the Superintendent of Police, the District Education Officer, and the Assistant Commissioner, alongside numerous public representatives, senior officials, and students.
