Raipur Municipal Corporation is continuously taking effective action to ensure road safety, animal protection and control of cattle roaming in the open.
Teams from Zones No. 1 to 10 of Raipur Municipal Corporation are conducting a special campaign to catch cattle roaming on roads, main routes and public places using cow-catcher vehicles and safely release them in designated Gauthans / Kanji Houses in the Raipur Municipal Corporation area of the capital city.
The main objective of this action is to protect cattle from road accidents and ensure smooth traffic management.
It is noteworthy that against animal owners who leave their animals in the open, Raipur Municipal Corporation is taking action by advising them as well as imposing fines as per the rules. The Municipal Corporation is continuously creating awareness among animal owners and advising them to keep their animals in safe places and not leave them to roam on public roads.
Through the teams of Zones No. 1 to 10 of Raipur Municipal Corporation, continuous action is underway under a special campaign to catch stray cattle, and the process of safely releasing them in Gauthans is continuing.
