- Released in the forest by the forest department
An endangered wildlife strayed into the house of a pangolin in village Paraspani under forest zone Hatta (General) and was rescued safely and released into its natural habitat by vigilance of the villagers and quick action of the forest department.
According to the information, on 17 July 2026 at around 12:30 PM, Mr. Prashant Chaudhary, a resident of Village Paraspani, informed the Forest Department that a pangolin had entered his house. On receiving the information, the officers and staff of Forest Range Hatta (General) reached the spot and safely rescued the wildlife and brought it to the Forest Range Office Hatta. After this in the presence of Deputy Forest Officer Balaghat (General) and Range Officer Hatta (General) Veterinary Officer Dr. Hatta. Pangolin health check by Dharmendra Gautam. The wildlife was found to be completely healthy during the investigation. After the recommendation of the veterinarian, the pangolin was safely released into the nearby reserve forest area away from human disturbance.
The Forest Department has appealed to the villagers that if they get information about any wildlife coming into the populated area, they should not try to catch it or harm it, but immediately inform the Forest Department, so that the wildlife can be safely rescued and released in their natural habitat.
