Governor Shri Ramen Deka has taken a commendable initiative to improve the health and treatment of children with special needs. He donated ₹5 lakh from his voluntary donation to the Dental Department of AIIMS, which is now providing dental treatment to these children.
Today, the Governor visited the Dental Department at AIIMS. During the visit, he met children with special needs who had come for treatment and inquired about their health. While interacting with the children and their families, he also learned about the treatment process and facilities.
Speaking with doctors and related officials, the Governor stated that providing quality and accessible healthcare to children with special needs should be a priority. This initiative, underway at the AIIMS Dental Department, is providing relief to many children from dental problems, improving their quality of life.
