- Pension to the elderly, gift of Rakshabandhan to the sisters

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Tuesday transferred the pension amount of social security pension scheme and incentive amount of gas cylinder refill under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana to the accounts of lakhs of sisters of the state from the ministry with a single click. Chief Minister Dr. Addressing the beneficiaries present in all the districts of the state through video conferencing, Yadav said that our government is working with full commitment for the development and welfare of every section of the society. We want happiness in everyone’s home. He said that the government’s priority is service and antyodaya. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, historic work is being done for the welfare of poor, youth, women power and farmers. The Chief Minister said that our ultimate goal is to serve everyone with dedication and devotion.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav transferred Rs 211 crore 53 lakh in the bank accounts of more than 35 lakh 25 thousand eligible beneficiaries of the region under various social security pension schemes. This amount has been transferred to the accounts of the respective beneficiaries as pension of July 2026. He said that the amount of pension may be small, but the support received from it is very big. The smile on the faces of the elderly gives the government new energy to work even better for the welfare of the people. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that our festival is not only an opportunity to celebrate, but also an opportunity to connect with the happiness of the last people of the society. He said that for the government, there is no other festival more important than citizens’ respect and everyone’s happiness, that’s why we have decided to transfer the pension amount to the elderly first on the upcoming festivals.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also transferred the amount of gas cylinder refill for April and May 2026 in the accounts of more than 22 lakh 20 thousand sisters of the region with a single click while mentioning the Shravan month and upcoming Rakshabandhan festival. About Rs 99 crore or two months of subsidy has been deposited in the accounts of the sisters. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Sawan to bahnon ka hi month hota hai. The sisters were not happy, it was not cheerful in the house, so we have now started giving them gifts for Rakshabandhan. The Chief Minister wished all the sisters of the state on Raksha Bandhan and said that everyone should celebrate Raksha Bandhan happily, cook good food and feed their brothers. He said that Bahnon ki khushi mein hi hamari khushi hai, Bahnon ke Kalyan mein hum no kami nahi hai.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav wished the people of the region on Hariyali Teej, Independence Day and Rakshabandhan and wished happiness, prosperity and happiness in everyone’s life with the grace of Mahakal. He called upon all the citizens of the region to put up the tricolor on their houses under Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan.
The Minister of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Mr. Govind Singh Rajput said that the Prime Minister Ujjwala Yojana and non-Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana have been providing gas refill facility for 450 rupees continuously for the last 3 years. Shri Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Minister of Social Justice and Welfare of Persons with Disabilities, Horticulture and Food Processing also addressed. Additional Chief Secretary Food and Civil Supplies Mr. Rashmi Arun Shami, Principal Secretary Social Justice and Disability Welfare Mrs. Sonali Wayangankar and other departmental officers were also present in the program.
