- Various events will be held across the district from September 17 to October 17.
During his visit to Dantewada, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao reviewed the preparations for the “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan” in the Collectorate’s Dankani Hall. He directed that the campaign, to be held from September 17th to October 17th, be comprehensive and involve public participation. He stated that the campaign’s programs should not be limited to the district headquarters, but should be effectively organized at the district, tehsil, town council, and village panchayat levels.
The Deputy Chief Minister emphasized the need to ensure the active participation of public representatives, social organizations, educational institutions, self-help groups, youth, women, and senior citizens. He reviewed the department-wise preparations and directed timely implementation and regular monitoring of all programs. Various activities will be organized under the campaign, including “Aashirwad Ka Diya,” “Kahani Badlaav Ki,” “Namo Seva Gatha,” “Aangan Ka Utsav,” “Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra,” “Seva Mera Yogdan,” and “Seva Setu Abhiyan – Government at Your Doorstep.” There will also be painting and speech competitions in schools, nutrition awareness programs in Anganwadi centers, and activities related to cleanliness and public service.
Collector Mr. Devesh Kumar Dhruv, while providing information on the preparations for the campaign in the district, stated that meetings are being held at various levels to develop day-by-day and date-wise program outlines for widespread public participation. The Deputy Chief Minister directed Collector Mr. Dhruv to direct the Nodal Officer, CEO, District Panchayat, Mr. M. Bhargava, and Assistant Nodal Officer, Mr. Rajesh Patre, to conduct regular reviews with all departments and continuously monitor preparations. He stated that the “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan” should not merely be a series of government programs, but an opportunity to strengthen the resolve for service, dedication, and a developed India 2047 through public participation. DFO Mr. Ramakrishna Ranganatha V, Additional Collector Mr. Rajesh Patre, and district-level officials were present on the occasion.
