Shri Guru Ravidas Samarasata Sankalp Abhiyan and Yatra

  • Holy urns will be sent from Bhopal to the districts
  • The state level program will be held at Rabindra Bhavan on August 18

On the occasion of the 650th birth anniversary of Saint Shiromani Ravidas Ji, a state-wide Samarasata Sankalp Abhiyan and Yatra will be organized from 18 August with the aim of spreading the message of equality, devotion, service, social justice and humanity in the region. Under the campaign, various social, cultural and public relations activities will be organized at the region, district and village levels. For effective and orderly implementation of the campaign, the General Administration Department has issued directives to the Collectors and Commissioners along with Urban Development and Housing, Panchayat Rural Development, Culture, Tourism, Scheduled Caste Welfare, Planning and Statistics and Tribal Affairs Department.

  • Pawan Kalash will be handed over to the districts on August 18

State level program will be organized on 18th August, 2026 at Rabindra Bhavan Bhopal. On this occasion, Pawan Kalash will be sent to different districts of the region. Proper arrangements will be made to receive the Kalash by the respective districts and take it respectfully to the district headquarters.

  • Kalash Rath Yatra in each district

On August 20, 2026, Kalash Vandan and Samman ceremony will be held at all district headquarters. The holy kalash will be carried in a chariot to the local Ravidas temple and village level. Kalash Rath Yatra will be organized from 20th August to 10th September 2026 in each district of the state on the prescribed route. It has been asked to pre-prepare the route, stopovers, timetables and local programs of the program at that level.

  • Local religious and cultural events

District-level, village-level and designated local temples will be organized in various forms such as mass aarti, Guruvani recital, bhajan evening, Samarasata Sankalp and other local religious and cultural programs. Participation of local saints, gurus, community representatives and citizens will be ensured in the programs.

  • Harmony Journey

Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Samarasata Yatra will be held between October 5 to November 5, 2026. In this, the journey starting from Dera Sachkhand, Ballan (Jalandhar) will pass through various places in the state of Madhya Pradesh. At the major stages of the Yatra, a grand welcome for the Yatra, Samarasata Sankalp, Samarasata Goshti and programs focusing on the message of equality, service, social justice and the ideal society of Begampura will be organized.

  • Saint Contact Program

Sant Sampark programs will be organized from 18th to 31st August, 2026 at state level. Under this, Saints and Gurus will be invited for their participation in various social harmony programs by informing them about the objectives and activities of the campaign.
The nodal and co-ordinating department of the program will be the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department and Tribal Affairs Department in tribal districts. Necessary arrangements will be ensured by District Headquarters/Urban Development and Housing Department in urban areas and Panchayat and Rural Development Department and Planning, Finance and Statistics Department in rural areas. Planning, Finance and Statistics Department and Jan Abhiyan Parishad will carry out necessary activities to increase public awareness and public participation in connection with the campaign. Cultural activities will be organized, coordinated and co-ordinated by the Culture Department under the Cultural Program.

  • Coordination at district level

Collector will be the district level coordinator for the campaign. The collector will coordinate with the concerned departments, local bodies and other related organizations and prepare the necessary action plan for the smooth organization of the programs. Greater participation of public representatives, local saints/guru, social and religious organizations, social service organizations and citizens will be ensured in organizing the programmes. A weekly report on the progress of the campaign will be sent to the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department.
The General Administration Department has directed that proper arrangement should be ensured by coordinating with the concerned departments/local bodies in relation to law and order, traffic, sanitation, drinking water, medical aid, fire fighting and other necessary arrangements during travel and programmes. It is directed to ensure the necessary arrangements in advance especially on the route and major stops.
All concerned departments will appoint state level and district level nodal officers for the activities of the campaign and inform the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department. The Principal Secretary, Scheduled Caste Welfare Department will review the campaign and issue directions as required for smooth and effective implementation of the campaign as required at each stage.
