- The Chief Minister addressed the Balram Agricultural Festival of Tikamgarh virtually
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the prosperity of the nation is due to the prosperity of the farmers. Government of Madhya Pradesh is giving priority to increase the prosperity of farmers by providing them with all necessary facilities. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved Ken-Betwa inter-state river linking project for the prosperity of Bundelkhand region. Their resolution is that adequate irrigation should increase production and provide maximum benefits to farmers. The picture of Bundelkhand region will change in the coming time.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Balram Agricultural Festival organized in Tikamgarh on Thursday through video conference from Chief Minister’s residence. He said that sculptors who make brass sculptures in Tikamgarh are the identity of this region. Along with this, the work being done in Tikamgarh district in the field of agriculture is becoming an example for other districts. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav attended the Balram Krishi Mahotsav and congratulated the people’s representatives, farmers and sisters for the excellent organization and the upcoming festivals.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav interacted with the farmers who attended the Balram Agricultural Festival, which is engaged in the work of advanced agriculture. He appreciated the hard work and innovations being done by the farmers. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated Mr. Vishnu Sharma Anantapura for running the cowshed along with vegetable production and construction of poly house. Chief Minister Dr. Mr. Balchand Ahirwar told Mr. Yadav that he is doing organic farming, with which about 250 Kisan brothers are involved. Mr. Manohar Lodhi and Smt. Shashi Lodhi shared their experiences of natural farming.
Chief Minister Dr. Mr. Jagdish Ahirwar informed Mr. Yadav about the production of flowers, especially strawberry, watermelon, lemon, guava, etc. in an area of about 15 acres. Mr. Ahirwar said that they are doing this work with guidance from Horticulture Department and are also giving employment to two dozen persons. Along with this, they are also earning profit from milk production by rearing 15 cows. Mr. Ramesh Yadav explained why he has been working in seed production since 2005. About 3 lakh quintals of seeds have been made capable of production.

Chief Minister Dr. Mrs. Sunita Bundela informed Yadav about beekeeping and told that at present 5 centers are functioning. This work is hard work which has substantial financial benefits. Detailed information about beekeeping work was also given by Mrs. Sunita Bundela. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed his happiness when the role of queen bee in beekeeping was mentioned and said that he has not seen that queen bee, but he is definitely getting the opportunity to see his sister Sunita become financially viable through beekeeping and become a queen.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also discussed with former Minister Shri Harishankar Khatik, Administrator of Apex Bank Shri Mahendra Yadav, Shri Kaptan Singh. People’s representatives Chief Minister Dr. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for the important decisions taken for the welfare of farmers. Yadav while expressing his gratitude said that Balaram Krishi Mahotsav has been started in the interest of farmers, which is very useful from the point of view of farmers’ welfare. At the outset, Smt. Saroj Rajput in her welcome speech said that the approval of the Ken-Betwa project and the investors’ summit in Bundelkhand has worked in the interest of all sections including the farmers.
