Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that technical education and skill development are the most powerful means of making the country’s youth self-reliant. He encouraged the girl trainees and said that they should maintain their self-confidence, stay connected with their roots and farming along with technical proficiency. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was interacting with female trainees during a tour of the Government Tribal Women’s Industrial Training Institute (ITI) on Friday. Public Works Minister and in-charge of Chhindwara District Mr. Rakesh Singh, MP Mr. Vivek Bunty Sahu, Chief Secretary Mr. Ashok Barnwal, Divisional Commissioner Mr. Dhananjay Singh and other public representatives were present.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the various laboratories of the institute and discussed in detail with the female interns about their training, future plans and the benefits they are getting from various schemes of the government. In the mechanical lab, he learned about the CRDI four-stroke diesel engine and appreciated the girl students undergoing training on the lathe machine.
Fitter trade trainee Sushma Uike told the Chief Minister that her parents are involved in agriculture and she wants to make her future in this sector by taking technical training. The Chief Minister said to the girl, “Keep this confidence”. Stay connected with farming along with technical skills.
During the interaction, the trainee Radha Udke said that she will use the techniques learned during the training in farming as well and wants to set up an auto key technician machine and hardware workshop in the future. The Chief Minister appreciated his resolve and wished him a bright future.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also inquired about the benefits of government schemes from the trainees. Trainee Meena Karveti confidently shared information about ‘Mukhyamantri Sikho-Kamao Yojana’ and Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana. He said that they are proficient in technical work like binding, fan repair, wiring and connecting machine parts and they do all the work in full compliance with safety standards.
Chief Minister Dr. Impressed by the enthusiasm and commitment of the trainees, Yadav said that their responsibility is not only limited to improving their own lives, but also to bring positive change in the society and the lives of others with their skills and knowledge.
Apprentices of the fitter trade of the institute presented to the Chief Minister an attractive guitar designed on the concept of ‘waste to art’ and a cannon made of waste. Appreciating these constructive efforts, the Chief Minister said that such synergy of innovation and technical skills is an excellent example of the talent and creativity of the youth.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was also presented with the admit card of the institute. The trainee girls also took a group photograph with the Chief Minister. During the visit Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also planted a mulberry (mulberry) tree in the premises of the institute and gave the message of environmental protection.
