Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade paid a courtesy call on Union Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Annapurna Devi

Chhattisgarh’s Women and Child Development Minister, Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, paid a courtesy visit to the Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Hon’ble Smt. Annapurna Devi in ​​New Delhi and discussed in detail various important issues related to women and child development.

    During this meeting, Minister Smt. Rajwade shared information about her recent visit to Bastar Division, briefing the Union Minister on her field inspections, public interaction programs, and ground-level experiences and findings. She also provided information on the progress, challenges, and prospects of schemes implemented in remote and tribal areas of Bastar.

    In the meeting, positive and meaningful discussions were held regarding the effective implementation of various schemes of the Women and Child Development Department, strengthening of nutrition services in remote areas, expansion of Anganwadi services, maternal and child health, social and economic empowerment of women and successful implementation of upcoming public welfare programmes.

    Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade said that the guidance and suggestions of Union Minister Smt. Annapurna Devi will play a vital role in making the schemes of the Women and Child Development Department in the state more effective, inclusive, and people-oriented. She expressed confidence that the coordinated efforts of the central and state governments will give new impetus to the overall development of women and children.
