- Nine teams from various states to participate
The Chhattisgarh State Power Company is hosting the All-India Table Tennis Tournament for power utilities from September 6 to 8. In accordance with the schedule set by the All India Electricity Sports Control Board (AIESCB), the 48th All-India Table Tennis Tournament will be held at the sports complex located at the Power Company headquarters. Mr. M.S. Chauhan, General Secretary of the Central Sports and Arts Council, stated that nine teams from various power utilities across the country are participating in this national-level event. The tournament will be inaugurated on September 6 at 11:00 AM at the Table Tennis Hall (Mahila Mandal Bhavan) at the Power Company headquarters in Danganiya, in the presence of the Managing Directors of the three power companies: Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Katiyar, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Shukla, and Mr. Bhim Singh Kanwar.
Teams from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Kolkata, and Chhattisgarh are participating in the tournament. Matches will be played for singles, doubles, and team championship titles during the event.
