A solar dual pump has been installed in village Korai through the Jal Jeevan Mission and CREDA, providing much-needed relief to residents like 65-year-old Ganesho Bai, who have faced prolonged challenges due to water scarcity, thanks to the efforts of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s government.
Previously, Ganesho Bai faced severe challenges during rainy and summer seasons due to water scarcity. She had to contend with dirty drain water during the rains and travel long distances in search of water when levels declined in summer. Slippery stones made fetching water a risky task during monsoons.
Thanks to the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, a solar dual pump was installed under the Jal Jeevan Mission and CREDA, with pipelines extended to homes in the village. This initiative has provided Ganesho Bai and other villagers access to clean and safe water within their households.
Ganesho Bai expressed her relief, stating, “This tap has resolved a major issue for us. Previously, during rainy days, we struggled to find clean water. Now, clean tap water is readily available at home, eliminating any risks. This support means a lot to us at our age.” The state government’s effective schemes to address water problems in villages have significantly improved the lives of villagers.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s government has taken an important step towards rural development, ensuring that villagers are freed from water problems, thereby bringing happiness into their lives
