- CM Dr. Yadav Gifts Development Projects worth over ₹38 crore to Narmadapuram District

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav joined the Narmada Jayanti celebrations and the Bhoomi Poojan of Narmada Lok in Narmadapuram district through video conferencing. He dedicated three development works worth over ₹38 crore to the district Via VC.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the development of Narmada Lok will increase the number of devotees visiting Narmadapuram, leading to greater employment opportunities and accelerated growth of the local economy. He said that Maa Narmada is the mother of Madhya Pradesh and the focal point of the state’s economic, cultural, and spiritual prosperity. Blessed by Maa Narmada, Madhya Pradesh has become the country’s food basket and, through her grace, is achieving new heights as a surplus power-generating state. The Chief Minister said that Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai preserved ghats and pilgrim sites and carried out works for public welfare. Inspired by her legacy, India has witnessed a cultural and spiritual resurgence under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In line with the Prime Minister’s vision, loks and religious corridors are being developed at several temples across the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav extended his best wishes to all devotees on the occasion of Narmada Jayanti.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performed the Bhoomi Poojan of Narmada Lok through VC, to be developed at a cost of ₹21 crore, and also unveiled a grand statue of Maa Narmada in Narmadapuram. Under the Narmada Lok project, steps at Sethani Ghat, Tourism Ghat, and Kori Ghat will be renovated. The ghats will be equipped with attractive entrance gateways and watchtowers, along with well-organised parking and kiosks for changing clothes to enhance pilgrim convenience.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performed the Bhoomi Poojan of projects worth ₹15 crore under the Chief Minister Urban Infrastructure Scheme for rainwater drainage in urban areas. He also unveiled a 40-foot-high Trishul and an 8-foot-tall statue of Maa Narmada, constructed at a cost of ₹1.25 crore.
