Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla said that Rewa is not only ahead in the field of development but also in the field of art and culture. The Krishna Raj Kapoor Auditorium has become a destination for art lovers, where, like in metropolitan cities, national and internationally renowned artists are showcasing their art.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Chitrangan International Film and Theatre Festival, organized by the Rang Utsav Theatre Committee, Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that the presentation of the acclaimed play Chakravyuh, written by Nitish Bharadwaj, who played Krishna in the Mahabharata, captivated the discerning audience in Rewa, and that we are all fortunate to have witnessed this play. He added that the play’s performance by Bharadwaj and his team will remain etched in our minds forever. He added that the people of Rewa not only know how to build relationships but also how to maintain them, as exemplified by the Raj Kapoor Auditorium, where Raj Kapoor was married and now houses a grand auditorium for art and culture lovers. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla congratulated the organizing committee. On this occasion, Bharadwaj stated that theatre and cinema are mirrors of society. He also praised the understanding of Rewa’s discerning audience. Vice Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi University Shri Vijay Manoj Tiwari, former minister Shri Pushpraj Singh and a large number of art lovers and spectators were present in the program.
