- Multipurpose benefits from the scheme

This scheme will irrigate Kharif crops in a designated area of 770 hectares, while also filling the irrigation deficit in 635 hectares. Providing irrigation facilities in unirrigated areas will improve agricultural land rates. Construction of service banks along canals will facilitate transportation for villagers. Furthermore, with the availability of irrigation facilities, farmers will now be able to cultivate more than one crop, increasing their income and strengthening their economic position. This scheme will prove beneficial in the long run for the farmers of the region and will provide a new direction to rural development.
- Villages benefited from the scheme
Upon completion of the project, farmers from six villages, including Baghutola, Lata, Khirsali, Baddo, Raghupara, and Chapri, will directly benefit. This canal expansion will ensure proper Kharif irrigation for approximately 770 hectares of agricultural land. This will ensure timely water availability to farmers in these villages, leading to increased crop yields.
