In this spirit, a one-day special session was held in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly on the crucial topic of women’s overall development and empowerment, in which the resolution to implement one-third reservation for women in Parliament and all legislative assemblies of the country was widely discussed.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, a strong foundation has been laid for the social and economic empowerment of women in the country. Strengthening their political participation is our next important step. This resolution is a meaningful effort to fully connect half the country’s population to their rights.
