- Lundra MLA Shri Prabodh Minj listened to the problems of the villagers and directed the officials to resolve them in a timely manner.
Under the direction of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, a public problem resolution camp was organized in Beldagi village of Lakhanpur development block in Surguja district as part of “Good Governance Festival 2026.” A large number of villagers from the cluster’s 20 gram panchayats attended the camp, learned about various government welfare schemes, and submitted applications regarding their demands and complaints.
- Direct communication with villagers and listening to their problems
Lundra MLA Shri Prabodh Minj participated in the camp and directly interacted with the villagers. He listened seriously to the demands, problems and complaints of the common people and directed the concerned officials to ensure timely resolution of the received applications and inform the applicants. MLA Shri Minj said that the purpose of Good Governance Festival, organized on the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, is to eliminate the distance between the government and the public. He urged the villagers to openly share their problems and needs and said that the administration is committed to their solution.
- Special emphasis given to issues of public interest

District Panchayat CEO Mr. Vinay Kumar Agarwal stated that under Good Governance Festival, resolution camps are being organized in groups of 15 to 25 villages. He stated that applications received at the camps will be resolved promptly, and necessary cases will be referred to the government level. He directed the Revenue Department to exercise special sensitivity in resolving complaints. The Health Department provided information about the HPV vaccination campaign and appealed to ensure vaccination of eligible girls. Informing about special Gram Sabhas to be held on the occasion of World Environment Day, he emphasized the importance of promoting water conservation, pond deepening, conservation of wells and other water structures, and solid waste management. He also advised Gram Panchayats to collect water tax for the better operation and maintenance of tap water schemes.
- 1210 applications received, 50 beneficiaries benefited
A total of 1210 applications were received in the camp, which included 1151 demand related and 59 complaint related applications. Around 26 departments set up stalls in the camp and provided information about various schemes and benefited eligible beneficiaries. Special facilities were provided for making Aadhar Card and Ayushman Card. Health check-up and TB screening were done by the Health Department under the TB Free Surguja campaign. At the same time, rural livelihood activities were encouraged by displaying products prepared by self-help groups through Bihan Bazaar.
The Women and Child Development Department also organised baby shower and Annaprashan programmes. In the camp, 50 beneficiaries were benefited under various schemes including house keys under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Kisan Credit Card, Soil Health Card, Ayushman Card, Health Card, MNREGA Job Card and Ration Card. On this occasion, District Panchayat Member Smt. Monika Paikra, District Panchayat President Smt. Shashikala Singh, Vice President Shri Kameshwar Rajwade, District Members, Sarpanchs of all Gram Panchayats, SDM Shri Ramraj Singh, District Panchayat CEO, District and Block level officers-employees and a large number of villagers were present.
