 Bastar’s daughters set an example of success, Rudrani and Daleshwari from tendu leaf collector families have enhanced the region’s pride.

Overcoming financial hardship and limited resources, two daughters from Bastar district have written a new chapter in their success story. Rudrani Kashyap and Daleshwari Baghel, both from tendu leaf-collecting families, have brought glory to their parents, their village, and the entire Bastar region by excelling in their high school board exams.

“A success story forged within limited resources.” 
            Rudrani Kashyap, a resident of Ulnar village in the Bakawand development block of Bastar district, attended SEJES (Swami Atmanand School of Excellence) Karpavand, and Daleshwari Baghel, a student at the Government Higher Secondary School, Ulnar, achieved this remarkable feat. Both students have proven that with dedication and discipline, talent is beyond any constraint.

‘New flight from Shiksha Protsahan Yojana’ 
           Under the Shiksha Protsahan Yojana, which is run to promote talented children from tendu leaf collector families, both the girl students have been sanctioned an incentive amount of Rs 15,000 each. During the Good Governance Tihar camp organized recently in village Ulnar, Bastar MP Shri Mahesh Kashyap presented cheques of incentive amount to both the promising daughters. On this occasion, the MP inspired both of them for higher education and also presented saplings as a souvenir while giving the message of environmental protection.

           Parents expressed gratitude, daughters’ dreams got wings Rudrani Kashyap’s mother Mrs. Kunti Kashyap said that her daughter is interested in Biology and the entire family will support her in every possible way in her further studies. At the same time, Daleshwari Baghel’s father Mr. Lambodar Baghel gave full credit of this success to the hard work of his daughter and the able guidance of the teachers. This success of these daughters from families living a hard life has become an inspiration for thousands of students in the rural areas. This scheme of the government has not only boosted their morale but has also given a new and strong direction to their dreams.
