The two-day MATS University Mega Job Fair 2026 commenced with great enthusiasm at the MATS University Raipur Campus. The event was graced by Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh, Collector of Raipur, as the Chief Guest, while the presence of the SDM, Raipur, added further dignity to the occasion.
More than 45 national and reputed companies registered to participate in the Mega Job Fair. Students from MATS University as well as various colleges and universities across Chhattisgarh participated in large numbers. Over 700 students registered and enthusiastically took part in this two-day employment fair.
On the first day of the Mega Job Fair, representatives from several reputed companies conducted interviews and offered career opportunities to students. On the second day, June 7, 2026, many more renowned organizations are expected to participate, creating additional employment and career prospects for aspiring candidates.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh inspired students to set clear goals and work diligently towards achieving them. Sharing examples from his own life journey, he emphasized that dedication, discipline, and continuous effort are essential for success. He highlighted the importance of every job and profession, encouraging students to respect every opportunity and continuously enhance their skills. His motivational address instilled confidence and enthusiasm among the students.
The event was also attended by Hon’ble Chancellor Shri Gajraj Pagaria, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) K. P. Yadav, Director General Shri Priyesh Pagaria, and Registrar Shri Gokulananda Panda. The dignitaries encouraged students to prepare themselves according to industry requirements and focus on developing employability-oriented skills.
In their addresses, the university leadership reiterated that MATS University remains committed to the holistic development of students and enhancing their employment opportunities. The university regularly organizes placement drives, job fairs, career counseling sessions, industry interactions, skill development workshops, and other career-oriented programs to equip students with the competencies required by modern industries.

The event was successfully organized with the active support of the University’s Training and Placement Cell in which training Placement Officer Mr. Srikant lined the Activities . The overall coordination of the Mega Job Fair was undertaken by Dr. Umesh Gupta, whose leadership and guidance played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of the event. The enthusiastic participation of students, faculty members, industry representatives, and partner institutions contributed to the remarkable success of the first day.
The second day of the Mega Job Fair will be held on June 7, 2026, with the participation of more reputed companies and the continuation of recruitment and selection processes.
