Fertilizer and seeds received on time from the cooperative society

  • Kharif preparations made easy

The impact of the steps taken by the state government, led by Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, in the interest of farmers is now visible on the ground. By ensuring adequate storage of fertilizers, seeds, and other agricultural inputs before the Kharif season, farmers are now easily accessing essential materials through cooperative societies.
Farmer Shailendra Prasad Sahu, a resident of Vijaypur village in Korba district, received his required seeds, three bags of DAP, and six bags of urea from the Katghora Cooperative Society. Mr. Sahu, who cultivates paddy on approximately three and a half acres of land, explained that he received fertilizers and seeds on time without any hassles, following the established procedures at the society, which enabled preparations for the Kharif season to begin smoothly.
He added that farmers previously worried about the availability of fertilizers and seeds, but this year, adequate storage and a well-organized distribution system have eliminated these problems. This has boosted farmers’ confidence and increased their enthusiasm for farming. Expressing gratitude to the state government and Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Mr. Sahu said that farmer-friendly policies have made farming easier and more respectable, raising hopes for better production.
