Skilled youth are the strongest pillar of a developed India: Minister Shri Tetwal

  • Meritorious trainees honored with certificates distributed to trainees at the valedictory function of May-2025 batch at Sant Shiromani Ravidas Global Skills Park

Minister of State for Skill Development and Employment (Independent Charge) Shri Gautam Tetwal said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Under the guidance of Mohan Yadav, Madhya Pradesh is becoming a new identity in the field of skill development. Sant Shiromani Ravidas Global Skills Park is a strong example of this, which has established its unique identity not only at the national but also at the international level. He said that skilled youth is the strongest pillar of developed India. Youth should not be limited to getting employment but also develop the capacity to create employment and play their active role in realizing the concept of “Skilled India, Skilled India”.

Minister Shri Tetwal was addressing the valedictory function of May-2025 batch held at Sant Shiromani Ravidas Global Skills Park, Bhopal. He offered flowers on the statue of Saint Shiromani Ravidas and started the lamp lighting ceremony with the students. An inspirational song of the institute was also presented on this occasion.

Congratulating all the trainees who successfully completed the training, Minister Shri Tetwal said that this certificate is not only a symbol of completion of training but also a proof of discipline, confidence, professional vigilance and initiation of new opportunities. He called upon the students to keep learning continuously, develop themselves according to the changing technologies and contribute their skills to the progress of the region and the country.

In the function, the trainees of May-2025 batch were awarded certificates on completion of training and the students who excelled in various trades were felicitated. Ashish Kumar, a student of Advanced Networking and Systems Administration Trade, was awarded the Medal of Excellence for outstanding academic performance and outstanding achievements. At the same time Sandhri Trivedi, a student of Advanced Electrical Technology (Power and Control) trade, was awarded the Minister’s Medal for discipline, outstanding academic performance and sustained excellence. The student coordinators of the batch were also felicitated for their leadership ability and remarkable contribution to the activities of the institute.

In the function, the students shared their training experiences and expressed their gratitude to the institute, faculty and placement cooperation. Many trainees of this batch have showcased their talent by getting employment in reputed organizations like Indian Air Force, Madhya Pradesh Police, Adani Group, Hinduja Tech Limited and Trident. The program showcased the year-long training journey, learning experiences, cultural activities, international exposure and achievements of the students through a “Walk Down Memory” video.

Principal Secretary, Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment Mr. Manish Singh congratulated the trainees through a video message saying that skill, dedication and continuous learning will enable them to face future challenges. He urged the students to stay connected with the alumni network of the institute.

Director of Skill Development Directorate Shri Basant Kurre said that skill based education is an effective means of making youth self-reliant. He urged the students to take advantage of new opportunities while continuously developing their skills. Mr. Pradeep Raut of Solar Defense and Aerospace said that today’s industry expects youth who are always ready to learn and move forward with innovative thinking.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Institute Dr. Girish Sharma in his message said that the trainees of May-2025 batch have acquired not only technical proficiency but also professionalism, discipline and leadership skills during their training. He expressed confidence that the interns of the institute will bring glory to the institute and Madhya Pradesh with their work style and excellent performance at home and abroad.
