- Students should be provided practical and technical experience- Collector Shri Singh
Ujjain, 17 July. The 34th meeting of the governing body of Government Polytechnic College, Ujjain was concluded in the auditorium of Administrative Complex Bhawan on Friday under the chairmanship of Collector Shri Raushan Kumar Singh. In the meeting, various topics related to the overall development of the college, expansion of basic facilities and strengthening of academic and practical skills of the students were discussed in detail.
The meeting deliberated on the budget proposals presented for the upcoming educational and developmental activities, which were unanimously approved. Collector Mr. Raushan Kumar Singh gave his important suggestions on various proposals and also provided instructions regarding necessary objections and improvements on some subjects.
Collector Shri Singh said that the site itself will be inspected in connection with the proposed boundary wall construction in the college premises. The Collector directed to obtain necessary approvals from the competent authorities and ensure further action in relation to the old and declared unusable girls’ hostels.
Emphasizing on providing practical and technical experience to the students, Collector Shri Singh directed that the students should be taken on a tour of the construction works related to Simhastha-2028 currently being conducted and technical projects should be prepared based on those projects. He also directed to make efforts to provide training and internship opportunities to the students in consultancy organizations related to Simhastha construction works.
Emphasizing the need for modern technological education, Collector Shri Singh spoke of promoting the effective use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the teaching and learning process, so that students can become adept at adapting to the changing technological environment.
On this occasion, the principal of the college Dr. R.C. Gupta, members of Rajiv Gandhi University of Technology, NITTTR, Engineering College Ujjain Governing Body, parent representatives, reserved class representatives and other members were present.
