Deputy Chief Minister and Kawardha MLA Shri Vijay Sharma visited AIIMS Raipur to meet the victims of a road accident that occurred on the Nagpur-Raipur highway in Maharashtra’s Bhandara district. The victims belong to the Sahaspur Lohara area of Kabirdham district. Shri Sharma arrived at AIIMS Raipur late Tuesday evening, interacted warmly with the injured and their families, inquired about their health, and assured them of all possible assistance.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma also met with specialist doctors at AIIMS to obtain detailed information regarding the treatment of the injured. He discussed their current health status, ongoing treatment, and future medical procedures with the doctors, issuing instructions to ensure the best possible medical care for all the injured.
During his visit, the Deputy Chief Minister met with five-year-old Lukesh Patel, two-year-old Dali Patel, and 26-year-old Lalita Patel—all residents of village Bandhatola—to inquire about their well-being. Spending time with the injured—including the young children—and their families, Shri Sharma offered words of comfort and reassurance, stating that the government and administration stand with them during this difficult time. Since the accident, Shri Sharma has maintained constant contact with the families, providing support throughout the process, from hospital admission to the ongoing treatment of the injured.

Previously Offered Condolences at the Homes of the Deceased
It is noteworthy that following the accident, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma had visited the homes of the victims from Kabirdham district who lost their lives to pay his tributes. He met the bereaved families to express his condolences and assured them of all possible assistance. During that time, he had also met the families of the injured to inquire about their treatment.
