The online counseling process for admission to the B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.) undergraduate program for the academic year 2026-27 in government and private colleges affiliated to the Indira Gandhi Agricultural University (IGAU) has begun under the New Education Policy 2020. The first round of counseling will run from August 5th to August 14th, 2026. Fees will be resubmitted on August 16th for candidates with unsuccessful fee transactions. Candidates who registered online for the first round of counseling on August 18th will be allocated provisional seats and colleges based on the merit list of the PAT exam. Document verification will be conducted at the Agricultural College, Raipur, from August 20th to 22nd, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Candidates will be required to deposit their fees online from August 20th to 23rd to secure their allotted provisional seat. It is noteworthy that the PAT counseling admission process is being conducted with complete transparency.
After seat allocation, if a candidate is unable to secure a seat for any reason and wishes to participate in the next round of counseling, they must apply online. Candidates who have not yet been allotted a seat must also apply online for spot and conversion counseling between August 20th and 24th, 2026 (11:30 PM). If a candidate wishes to cancel their seat after securing it and does not wish to participate in any further process, they must do so between August 20th and 24th, 2026 (11:30 PM). Information regarding allotted and vacant seats will be made available on August 25th, 2026. The list of candidates registered for spot and conversion counseling will be uploaded on the university website on August 25th, 2026. Provisional seat and college allotment for spot counselling will be done between August 31 and September 1, 2026. Candidates will have to appear at the College of Agriculture, Raipur from August 31 to September 1, 2026 for immediate document verification and online fee submission. For conversion counselling, candidates will have to appear at the College of Agriculture, Raipur on September 2, 2026 for provisional seat, college allotment, immediate document verification and online fee submission.
