- The greenery enhances the beauty of the campus, while medicinal and fruit-bearing plants promote environmental protection.
“Operation Sindoor Garden,” developed at the Government ITI campus in Bhakhara at a cost of approximately 31 lakh rupees from the environmental forestry fund, is now taking shape. The various species of plants planted in the garden are gradually growing, and the campus is now adorned with a beautiful greenery. Once relatively empty, the campus is now a center of attraction due to its lush green surroundings and well-planned plantings.

This garden was created with the aim of protecting the environment, expanding green spaces, and providing a clean and natural environment for citizens and students. Medicinal, fruit-bearing, and shade-loving species of plants have been planted in the garden. As these plants grow, the greenery on the campus will not only increase, but in the future, this area will also become a useful place for students and local citizens to spend time in nature and raise awareness about the environment. It
is noteworthy that “Operation Sindoor Garden,” constructed at a cost of approximately ₹31 lakh on the Government ITI Bhakhara campus, was inaugurated by local MLA Mr. Ajay Chandrakar last April. The Livelihood (Bhakhara-Bhateli) Center was also inaugurated under the Chief Minister’s Skill Development Scheme, and training kits were provided to youth. These initiatives, along with environmental protection, have also been aimed at promoting youth skill development, employment, and self-reliance opportunities.

The growing greenery and evolving landscape of the garden currently reflect the positive results of this initiative. As the trees and plants grow further, this garden will establish itself as a beautiful green space for the Bhakhara region. This initiative, which promotes environmental protection and skill development within a single campus, is becoming a meaningful example of balancing nature with development.
