- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the fourth manufacturing unit of Kisan Irrigation at Pithampur
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Pithampur industrial area is an important center of industrial strength of Madhya Pradesh. Companies like Kisan Irrigation and Infrastructure Limited are giving new direction to investment, employment and technological progress in the region. “The Government of Madhya Pradesh is providing a conducive environment for the development of industries. Our priority is that the industries provide employment to the youth, modern technology is available to the farmers and the region becomes economically stronger. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the field of irrigation and water conservation, modern pipe, drip and sprinkler irrigation systems are very useful for the farmers. He expressed confidence that this new unit will play an important role in making water management more effective in the agricultural sector.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inauguration of the fourth new manufacturing unit of Kisan Irrigation and Infrastructure Limited in Pithampur Industrial Area of Dhar district on Wednesday. He also chanted Vedic mantras and worshiped in the Shiva temple in the factory premises . Congratulating the company management, the Chief Minister said that the expansion of industries is not only economic development, but also the basis of overall development of the society.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the commencement of the new manufacturing unit will further boost industrial activities in Pithampur Industrial Area. This will create new employment opportunities at the local level and also promote the production of modern products related to agriculture and water management in the region. He said that Madhya Pradesh will achieve new heights of development by coordinating industry, agriculture and technology.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inspected the new unit and got information about the state-of-the-art machines being used in pipe manufacturing. He congratulated the company management while appreciating the work being done by the company in the field of agriculture, irrigation and water management.
Mr. Kunal Aggarwal, MD of the company informed that Kisan Irrigation and Infrastructure Limited was established about 40 years ago. At present the company is operating a total of 5 units out of which 4 units are located in Pithampur. The company manufactures PVC pipes, HDPE pipes, CPVC and UPVC pipes and fittings as well as manufactures water tanks, drip irrigation and sprinkler irrigation systems. The fourth new unit will manufacture HDPV and DWC pipes, providing modern products to agriculture, irrigation and infrastructure sectors.
In the program Dhar MLA Mrs. Neena Verma, People’s Representative, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Sudam Khade, IG Mr. Anurag and Dhar Collector Mr. Rajiv Ranjan Meena along with the office bearers of the company were present .
