Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma visited the Deori Gram Panchayat in the Balodabazar development block on Friday during his district visit. He performed the groundbreaking ceremony and inauguration of three development projects worth ₹44 lakh. These included the inauguration of a ₹20 lakh check dam and a ₹16 lakh Mahtari Sadan building in Deori village. He also performed the groundbreaking ceremony for a shed construction costing ₹8 lakh. Chief guest Minister Tankaram Verma stated that the state government is committed to the overall development of villages. The check dam will increase the water level in the area and provide irrigation facilities to farmers.

The Mahtari Sadan will become a hub for women’s self-reliance and community activities. “Our government is committed to overall development,” he said. With the benefits of schemes reaching people in every village, prosperity and well-being are evident everywhere. District Panchayat President Akanksha Jaiswal, Balodabazar District President Sulochana Yadav, Vice President Suman Yogesh Verma, Chairman Chandrashekhar Dhruv, Sarpanch, and a large number of public representatives and villagers were present on the occasion.
