 Strong Good Governance 2026: Dhamtari district administration has achieved a major achievement in ‘Good Governance Festival’, with over 8,500 public grievances resolved on the spot.

  • Dhamtari sets an example – over 85% of 11,621 applications resolved promptly,
    with issues ranging from nano urea to the ‘PM Kisan Samman Nidhi’ resolved on the spot.

In line with the Chhattisgarh government’s vision of prompt, transparent, and accountable resolution of public problems, the “Good Governance Festival 2026” campaign, being run by the Dhamtari district administration, is achieving new milestones of success. Under the Collector’s able guidance, all departments, municipal bodies, district panchayats, and tehsil offices in the district are working in mission mode. Of the 11,621 applications filed so far under this mega-campaign, over 8,500 have been resolved in record time, while the remaining cases are being processed at a rapid pace.
The cluster model is gaining momentum, with 
camps being organized in 15-20 villages. The district administration has taken a unique initiative to ensure villagers don’t have to run around offices. Special camps are being organized by forming clusters in the district’s 24 gram panchayats, each encompassing 15 to 20 villages. This is providing villagers with access to administrative services within their own area.
Report card of rural and urban areas Rural area: 
Till May 20, 8 huge camps have been completed in rural areas. In this series, today the 9th camp was organised in village Chorbhatti of Kurud development block and the 10th camp was organised in village Piparchhedi of Dhamtari development block and the problems of the public were heard. Urban area: Till now 13 camps have been successfully organised in 7 Nagar Panchayats including Dhamtari Municipal Corporation in urban areas.

From revenue to ration and electricity-water issues, on-the-spot solutions are being addressed
through “Good Governance Festival” (Good Governance Festival), directly related to the public, such as agricultural revenue issues, basic infrastructure demands, social security pensions, food distribution (ration), electricity, water resources, education, health, rural development, and various essential certificates (caste, residence, income). Officials from the Dhamtari, Nagari, Magarlod, and Kurud district panchayats, along with the Women and Child Development, Public Health Engineering (PHE), and Food Departments, are present on-site to inform applicants about the situation.
The Piparchedi camp has become a boon for farmers. 
The gift of PM Kisan and Nano Urea has been given. This campaign is not limited to administrative tasks but is also becoming a means of empowering farmers. During Good Governance Festival, the Agriculture Department is providing farmers with information on the proper and scientific use of fertilizers. The benefits and methods of using Nano Urea and Nano DAP are being explained in detail to farmers . Additionally, at a camp held in Piparchedi village, farmers’ problems related to the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana ( PM-KISAN ) were resolved on the spot, providing immediate relief. Quality and timely solutions are the top priority. The objective of ‘Good Governance Festival’ is not merely to collect applications or gather data, but to ensure sensitive and timely solutions to the problems of every eligible and needy citizen. This campaign is proving to be a milestone in promoting transparency, accountability, and public participation in administrative work. All officials have been given clear instructions to resolve pending cases promptly and with quality, so that the benefits of government welfare schemes can easily reach the last person in society.
The public’s unwavering trust in the administration has increased. Citizens
in both rural and urban areas are thrilled to see top district and block-level officials present directly at the camps and to see their problems resolved promptly on the spot. Through ‘Good Governance Festival 2026’, the Dhamtari district administration has set a new and exemplary example of people-centric and sensitive governance in Chhattisgarh.
