To strengthen health services, complete recruitment processes on time with priority: Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla conducted a detailed review of various issues of the Public Health and Medical Education Department at the Secretariat. In the review meeting, he reviewed the progress of departmental schemes, pending proposals, and necessary administrative proceedings and directed them to ensure timely action. He said that to strengthen health services in the state, recruitment processes should be completed on time with priority, so that better health facilities can be made available to the general public.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla directed to expedite the recruitment process for vacant teacher posts in Budhni, Damoh and Chhatarpur Medical Colleges. He asked to take necessary action in all districts for recruitment to the pending outsourced posts in health institutions. He also directed to send the demand letter to the Public Service Commission soon for recruitment to 59 gazetted posts of nursing teachers in nursing colleges. He directed to take necessary action to ensure the operation of the night shelter in District Hospital Rajgarh. He directed to complete the approval process of Transfusion Medicine Department in Gwalior Medical College soon. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla also directed to take action on priority for providing the option of all districts for appointment to the passed out students of nursing colleges run by the Health Department.

Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Shukla comprehensively reviewed the proposals to be submitted to the Project Review Committee and the Expenditure Finance Committee. He directed the completion of necessary action regarding the approval and upgrading of new health institutions, the cancer hospital in Sagar, and the hospital upgrade proposal in Singrauli. He directed that proposals for the inclusion of new conditions for air ambulance operations, permission for divisional operation of hearse vehicles, direct recruitment of specialists, creation of new posts in 16 district hospitals, and approval of posts under the CCHB be forwarded for cabinet approval, after completing the necessary formalities. Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Shukla also directed the necessary action to obtain the necessary permissions for exemption from the Public Service Promotion Rules-2025 for the promotion of doctors, permission for direct recruitment of specialists, issuance of recruitment advertisements for 2,317 nursing officer and tutor posts, and conducting recruitment examinations for 1,200 hospital assistant posts.

Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Shukla directed to ensure necessary action on the issues raised during his visit to Medical Colleges Rewa and Satna. He directed to ensure immediate payment of salaries to outsourced employees in Rewa. He also asked to complete the land marking process for District Hospital Maihar and complete the further proceedings in a timely manner. Additional Chief Secretary Public Health and Medical Education Mr. Ashok Barnwal, Additional Chief Secretary General Administration Mr. Sanjay Kumar Shukla were present in the meeting.
