Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that numerous central and state government schemes are in place for the benefit of workers. Now, workers in the unorganized sector are also being offered the benefits of the Sambal Yojana. These include gig workers and platform workers who deliver various consumer goods. He praised the department for providing the benefits of the scheme to 3,529 gig workers in the state for the first time. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that it is our responsibility to register eligible workers in this sector and provide them with assistance and social security.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav made these remarks while transferring a grant of ₹600 crore to more than 27,000 worker families under the Chief Minister’s Public Welfare (Sambal) Scheme with a single click from the ministerial meeting room. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a unique initiative, Labor Star Rating, has been launched in the state. Under this system, industrial organizations are working to ensure the health and safety of workers. This will enhance the credibility of industrial organizations that better comply with labor laws. 554 factories in the state have voluntarily adopted the Labor Star Rating system.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that it is the responsibility of the Labor Department, labor organizations, and citizens to encourage the implementation of the Labor Star Rating system in the establishments from which they make purchases. Priority should also be given to purchasing products and services from institutions that are committed to the rights and welfare of workers.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Central Government has enacted four new labor codes. The State Government will also prepare and implement rules in accordance with these codes. No stone will be left unturned to ensure that as many workers as possible benefit from the Central and State Government schemes implemented for the benefit of workers. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expected other districts to be as active in providing ex-gratia assistance to workers as Balaghat, Dhar, Sagar, Jabalpur, and Khargone, the five districts that have performed best under the Sambal Yojana.
Labor, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Mr. Patel expressed confidence in Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s labor-friendly policies and thanked him for prioritizing labor welfare.
