Crowd of villagers gathered at Kohkameta Good Governance Camp

A large number of villagers attended the Samadhan Camp organized in Kohkameta village of Orchha Janpad Panchayat, Narayanpur district, under the Good Governance Festival. The camp’s primary objective was to simplify and facilitate government services in rural areas, eliminating the need for frequent office visits to resolve their problems. A total of 326 applications were received at the camp to address issues, demands, and complaints related to various government welfare schemes. Of these, 134 were promptly resolved on the spot. The remaining 192 applications are currently under process.
Most cases were resolved under beneficiary-oriented schemes
     . Administrative officers and departmental staff listened to the villagers’ problems on the spot. The Health Department provided relief to the villagers by resolving the highest number of cases, 90 on the spot. Eight applications for Ayushman cards, 15 for Aadhaar cards, two for caste certificates, and three for residence certificates were resolved immediately.

Twelve cases related to the Women and Child Development Department were resolved. A total of 47 applications were received from the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, while 20 applications related to MNREGA job cards were registered. Similarly, two bank account-related matters were resolved, while 84 applications related to other departments were also received at the camp.
      Villagers expressed satisfaction with this initiative, stating that through such events (camps), they receive access to various departmental services and information in one place, significantly saving their time and resources. Following the Collector’s instructions, officials present at the camp provided detailed information about various public welfare schemes to the villagers. Eligible beneficiaries were identified and marked for benefits. Senior administrative officials, along with local public representatives, were present at this good governance camp.
