- Appreciation of construction work being carried out at a fast pace as per the prescribed standards
Jashpur District Secretary-in-Charge, Mr. Ankit Anand, today inspected the Jagdev Ram Oraon Kalyan Ashram Hospital under construction in Jashpur and reviewed the progress of the construction work. He commended the concerned agency and officials for carrying out the hospital construction work in accordance with the prescribed standards and at a fast pace.

During the inspection, the Secretary-in-Charge stated that once completed, the hospital will provide a new direction to the health services in the area and serve as an important health center for the local population. He expressed confidence that patients will have access to better and modern medical facilities from specialist doctors. He took detailed information about the construction work and instructed the officials to complete the work within the stipulated time frame while maintaining quality.

Collector Mr. Rohit Vyas, Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat Mr. Abhishek Kumar, SDM Jashpur Mr. Vishwas Rao Maske, Executive Engineer of Chhattisgarh Housing Board Mr. Prafulla Choure and other officials were present on this occasion. It is noteworthy that this state-of-the-art hospital is being constructed at a cost of approximately Rs. 35 crore 53 lakh from the CSR fund of NTPC Lara. The ground breaking ceremony of the hospital was performed by Chief Minister Mr. Vishnudev Sai on April 7, 2025. Currently, the casting work of four floors including the ground floor of the six-storey building has been completed and the construction work is progressing rapidly.

The proposed hospital will have emergency services on the ground floor, OPD on the first floor, wards on the second and third floors, ICU on the fourth floor and operation theatre on the fifth floor. This 100-bed hospital will provide 15 OPD rooms, 4 ICUs, 4 operation theatres, physiotherapy unit, pathology lab, CT scan, dialysis, X-ray, MRI, ECG, emergency ward and other modern health facilities. With the opening of the hospital, the people of Jashpur district and surrounding areas will benefit from better and accessible health services.
